Hi you!
My name is Marta. Thanks for visiting! If you’re on this page that probably means you’d like to learn something more about me – read on to see how the blog came about and what I will be featuring here.
A while ago I decided to do something I’ve been thinking about for a while – moving abroad. I ended up being in London, UK.
Still Europe? Yes. Similar to Poland? In many aspects – yes. But in so many – no!
I feel like I have so many experiences and thoughts I’d like to share that a blog would be a good way to do it. If you’re interested in joining me in my international adventure, you’re more than welcome to 🙂
Project Abroad blog is a place for global professionals and students interacting with people from other countries and cultures. It is a space where we can exchange ideas and our international stories, learn about communication with people from other cultures and inspire one another to explore the world!
Three things that I would like to be the core of this blog are:
Growth – I would love for it to be a place thanks to which we can all grow and develop as human beings, allowing ourselves for better cross-cultural interactions
Expertise – I’m sharing my passion and knowledge here, as well as encourage you to take a look at some other interesting sources you might be interested in. I hope these information will be useful in both professional and personal cross-cultural interactions.
Fun 🙂 – As life is not only about business, learning or professionalism I am also sharing my travel stories and tips together with stories about my funny, interesting or weird cross-cultural interactions. After all, there were so many after I moved to the UK that the only thing I can do is laugh at them, move on and keep learning new things 🙂
